Mud Valves
Our purpose-made Anson mud gate valves are suitable for the toughest demands of abrasive drilling mud service.
We also provide piping for high pressure mud application and complete standpipe manifolds.
We offer two models of these easy-to-operate and simple-to-maintain valves:
MV50:
(suitable for up to 5,000-psi maximum working pressure)
MV75:
(suitable for up to 7,500-psi maximum working pressure)
MV50:
Suitable for a maximum
working pressure of 5,000 PSI
- Available with various connections including butt weld, flange, hub, or hammer union
- Molded, one-piece (boot) seat design particularly suited for abrasive service and applications where valve contamination by line fluid sediment is an issue
- Nitride hardened stainless steel gate as standard

MV75: Suitable for a maximum working pressure of 7,500 PSI
- Available with various connections including butt weld, flange, hub, or hammer union
- One-piece, ‘disc type’ gate and seat design:
- Suspended stainless steel discs molded with rubber, designed to dampen pulsation effect from mud pumps and extend the life of the valve
- Repeatable high- and low-pressure sealing; capable of passing the most stringent testing for this type of valve in the industry.
- Nitride hardened stainless steel gate as standard
- Cavity-less body design limits ingress of contaminants
- Highly qualified valve tested for repeatable low- and high-pressure sealing capability with both liquid and gas
