Mento AS is a Norwegian family owned company established in Stavanger in 1971 and we celebrated our 50th year in 2021.
Our purpose from day one, have always been serving the oil & gas industry. Through the years we have developed from being a supply house to also be specialized within filtration, hoses, valves and drilling related equipment.
Mento is working for sustainable consumption and production by doing more, with less resources. We focus on the whole energy segment, including offshore wind, hydrogen and ammoniac production.
Aquaculture also fits into our product range and we deliver filter systems, hoses and valves for every requirement. Our competence fits right into the aquaculture segment.

Responsible consumption and production:
- Reduce the amount of waste through prevention, reduction, material recycling and reuse.

- Stimulate companies, especially large and multinational companies, to adopt sustainable methods and incorporate information on their own sustainability in their reporting routines.
Sustainability in mind
We focus on convincing our customers to have sustainability in mind when choosing products and suppliers. Longer product life and better durability gives a smaller footprint, however this carries additional cost.
Mento pursues a continuous competence enhancement program to be able to meet the customers need for quality.
By using our own recourses and qualified subcontractors, Mento will be your link to improved performance.
Today we focus on the whole Energy segment including offshore wind, hydrogen and ammoniac production. Aqua culture also fits into our product range and we deliver filter systems, hoses and valves to their specifications.

A mechanical solutions company.
Mento Service AS were established at Ågotnes in 1997 with personnel from Mento AS with the business concept:
“Rental, maintenance and recertification of oilfield supply equipment.”
During the years we have developed and specialized within fabrication, machining, mechanical work and rental & service.
In 2011 StrømmeGroup AS became a part of Mento Service AS and the company expanded both the workshop area, personnel- and product range. Engineering and product development became a new business area for Mento at Kolltveit.
Our purpose from day one, have always been to serve the oil & gas industry. During the years we have evolved from being a rental & service company to also be specialized within mechanical solutions such as manifolds, pipe spools, pressure vessels, filters & strainers, frames & structures and subsea equipment.
In 2011 StrømmeGroup AS became a part of Mento Service AS and the company expanded both the workshop area, personnel- and product range. Engineering and product development became a new business area for Mento at Kolltveit.
