Friday 20th of October, we were presented the “Risavika award” and I am incredibly proud and humbled that we as a company have been selected as the recipient of this award.
Thank you to all colleagues who contribute every day to the world recognizing us in this way.
This year the “Risavik-day” was held at the Clarion Hotel Air, and attracted about the same number of faces from the industry as in previous years.

Among this year’s speakers were Remy Atle Bilsback from Sparebanken Vest, former minister of trade and industry Iselin Nybø, Jørgen Dyrhaug from the National Security Authority, municipal director Knut Underbakke, the CEO of IKM Ståle Kyllingstad, and Kristin Kragseth from Petoro.

The day is organized by the Business Association in the Stavanger region (Næringsforeningen), and they are also behind the Risavika award, which is presented every year in collaboration with Sparebanken Vest. It is awarded to a person, company or organization that has been involved in developing Risavika and Tananger into an area where it is good to live, work and establish business.

This year’s award is the eleventh in a row, and has previously gone to ConocoPhillips, Fjord Line, NorSea Group, Norske Shell, Skangas, Risavika Havn, SR Group, John Dahle Skipshandel, Per Åge Hauge and Sola municipality.
